tell me no. I dare you!

This book is certainly out-of-genre, but I read it, was impressed, so here's my review:

Scott Silverman is an important force in the San Diego sobriety movement. Tell me no. I dare you! is not only his story of recovery from polysubstance abuse and his ascension to a predominant city-wide role in salvaging lives of those addicted to various substances, but it’s an inspirational account of Silverman seeing opportunities where others did not, where others gave up.

Silverman addresses not only the recovery from addiction, but this book is also useful for any non-addict who is seemingly running into dead ends. I’m inspired by having read this book, and as a result, I find myself examining my life for what I might change to enhance things for me and those with whom I interact. This book gets my strongest recommendation.
