The horrors of WWII and Nazi Germany are on full view here. The journey to Auschwitz is told from 2 different and reluctant hero's viewpoints. As good as Rosenberg's previous books were, I've started to cool on his recent books, but at least I got through them. Starting to wonder about my taste in books when I saw the number of 4 and 5 star reader reviews. It just never seemed to click with me and I returned it to the library after 100ish pages.ECD
